Program Overview

The Master of Religious Education is designed to equip and motivate students to become competent leaders in the educational ministries of churches. This program encourages the development of strong theological understanding and practical teaching skills for faith-based education and ministry.

Graduates of this program are prepared to serve the Christian community as directors or coordinators of religious education in congregations, diocesan offices, or as religious teachers in faith-based institutions.

Graduation Requirements

  • Complete a minimum of 64 quarter units (or 640 hours)
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale
  • Successfully complete all degree requirements within the 3-year time frame

Successful graduates will be awarded a degree in Master of Religious Education.
