Program Overview
The purpose of the Master of Religious Counseling is to equip and motivate students to become competent leaders in the counseling ministries of churches. This program is structured to guide students in developing knowledgeable and ethical practices for their ministry through a strong theological foundation.
Graduates of the Master of Religious Counseling are prepared to serve the Christian community as counseling directors in religious centers, congregations, diocesan offices, or as educators teaching religious counseling in faith-based institutions.
Graduation Requirements
- Minimum of 64 quarter units (or 640 clock hours)
- Cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale
- Successful completion of all program requirements within 3 years
Successful graduates will be awarded a degree in Master of Religious Counseling.
