Program Overview

The Bachelor of Theology is designed as a seminary-track curriculum with an emphasis on the study of religious education. This program lays the foundational groundwork for students aiming to teach the Bible in Christian schools or to pursue a higher theological education.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Theology will be well-prepared to enter a seminary or theological institution as part of their journey toward becoming ordained ministers. This program also equips students for roles such as Christian educators, missionary workers, youth ministers, Christian counselors, or Sunday school coordinators.

Graduation Requirements

  • Minimum of 168 quarter units (or 1680 clock hours)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale
  • General Education Courses: Minimum 40 units
  • Lower Division Courses: Minimum 48 units
  • Upper Division Courses: Minimum 36 units
  • Elective Courses: Minimum 24 units
  • Successful completion of all program requirements within 6 years
