Program Overview
The Bachelor of Religious Education is designed as a seminary-track curriculum with an emphasis on the study of religious education. This degree provides a foundational academic base for individuals seeking to teach the Bible in Christian schools or prepare for theological seminary training.
Upon completing the program, graduates will be equipped for continued theological education and careers as ordained ministers. Graduates are also qualified for roles such as Christian educators, missionary workers, youth ministers, Christian counselors, or Sunday school coordinators within the Christian community.
Graduation Requirements
- Minimum of 168 quarter units (or 1680 clock hours)
- Cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale
- General Education Courses: Minimum 40 units
- Lower Division Courses: Minimum 48 units
- Upper Division Courses: Minimum 36 units
- Elective Courses: Minimum 24 units
- Successful completion of all program requirements within 6 years
